ABC Salad

Makes 6 servings

2 of your favorite kind of apples

3 cups fresh broccoli florets

¹⁄₃ cup craisins (dried cranberries)

¼ cup chopped walnuts, if you like; not included in nutritional analysis

1 tablespoon chopped red onion, if you like; not included in nutritional analysis

½ cup fat-free, low-calorie vanilla yogurt

1. Ask an adult to help you core the apples. Don’t peel them, but chop them into bite-sized pieces.

2. Combine apples, broccoli and craisins in the salad bowl. Now you know your ABC’s! Add walnuts and onion if you wish.

3. Add yogurt. Mix gently.

4. Time to eat!
