Trunk-or-Treat is an annual event that allows families a safe and accessible experience trick-or-treating in a parking lot from car to car. Trunks of vehicles are decorated in different themes and volunteers pass out candy at every trunk. Carnival games, activities, food trucks, photo booth and more will be available for all to enjoy.
Funds raised by the 2019 Trunk-or-Treat event at The Arc of Anchorage will go toward the purchase of an ADA accessible vehicle that will provide transportation for individuals of all ages who experience disabilities in the greater Anchorage area who also receive services from The Arc. The event also gives the public the opportunity to have an accessible trick-or-treating experience so individuals who experience mobility challenges can join in the fun – everyone is included!
The event is held on The Arc of Anchorage campus, located at 2211 Arca Drive, off Northern Lights between Bragaw and UAA Drive. Parking will be available onsite and at neighboring Whaley School and Assets.
Admission is $10 for participants collecting candy/prizes. Adults not collecting candy/prizes and accompanying participating children will have free admission. Game/activity tickets are sold seperately.
